IRON MAN #101-102 (1977): 1st Dreadknight; meets Frankenstein

Iron Man meets Frankenstein. This could be a recipe for a fairly large disaster. But it’s actually kinda good.

Iron Man is attacked while in the Swiss Alps by a bunch of small monsters who are led by Frankenstein’s Monster. They are being collectively oppressed by a new villain, Dreadknight, who is riding a dragon-like horse.
Iron Man breaks his chains and meets this new villain.

Tell me he doesn’t look awesome?
Turns out the whole thing is a Dr. Doom plot, and we get an unmasking scene.

This seems to support the argument that Doom really isn’t all that disfigured. Marvel nerds (like me) argue about it all the time.
