In the mid-1970s Lawson worked as Chief Hardware Engineer at Fairchild, the company working on the Fairchild Channel F console, and in doing so made some serious contributions to videogame history.  While the Fairchild console wasn't exactly a success, some of the ideas in it were great and went on to be featured in other consoles like the Atari. Sony launched a new community feature for PS5 owners: PlayStation Tournaments. These officially sanctioned online tournaments will also award prizes to their winners. The details were revealed in a post on the PlayStation Blog. The first set of tourneys will involve  Guilty Gear Strive , NBA 2K23, and FIFA 23. Sony held what it calls "on-console" tournaments since 2016, but 2022 marks the day PlayStation Tournaments launch officially for the PS5. A writer's room has formed for a television adaptation of Vision Quest . Spinning out of the events of WandaVision, Vision Quest would likely serve as a spiritual adaptation of the comics arc donning the same name where Vision was reconstructed and has to do some pretty deep soul-searching thereafter. On top of that, new rumors suggest Vision's robotic father could be making his grand return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That's right--after appearing in a new form in Marvel's What If...?, Ultron may be on his way back to the beloved franchise. The latest comes from The Cosmic Circus , which reports the Ultron program isn't dead. Instead, it has simply laid dormant since the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, waiting for the next moment to strike. Back in 2019, I wrote a post about the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection , and raved about how impressively well-put-together it was.
